The Demoralized Marketer

I'm going crazy and broke!!!!!!!

I have the skills and I know what to do BUT no one is buying anything I market!

Do you feel like this also?

List building is the bottom line and should be your main goal with any online marketing business.

Get your Aweber account now if you don't have one! Double op-in autorespnder is the backbone of your business no matter what you sell/market. You must build a large list of targeted members or buyers. Building your list will take time...months or more! After you have a large list you could make hundreds of sales in one day from sending one e-mail.

Join PayDotCom.com and ClickBank.com and start marketing products from you market area to you list as it grows. Affiliate marketing is a great way to make extra income without haveing to build your own products.

How do you get people to signup for your list?

Give something away that is directly related to your market area. If you market health drinks give away a healthy eating e-book. Don't give away a car repair manual expecting this group of people will buy a health drink from you next week.

How do I get Traffic to your list capture website?

This is the hard part!

Targetted Traffic = targetted signups = more sales = more money!

1) Get a domain name for your website with keywords for your market in it. If you're marketing to the health drink industy make sure your domain name has health and drink in it. Better for the search engine ratings.

2) You need to fill your website with original content so it will rate higher in the search engines.

3) Make sure you are giving free usefull information and ask people to join your e-mail list for more free info. Try giving away something if they join the list.

4) Join a few social networking sites with a new account if you can. Facebook, Twitter, and maybe MySpace. Be active and talk to poeple every day on these networks. Start a Facebook group for your market and encourage people to visit your site. As your group builds you will be building a second list of targetted members.

5) Start writing 500 word articles about your product or market. Send them to your lists telling people they can repost it if they don't change it and keep the contact/link info. Start your own blog and post your articles there as well as on your own site to build original content. After you have a few article wiritten submit them to an article website. This will cost you money!

6) Search for free forums in your market and join them, at least a few. Don't just spam them with links to your website interact with the groups and just leave your link in your signature file so it is on all your posts people will click the link especialy if you have been around for a long time.

7) Google AdWords - This will cost you a lot of money! If you are not carefull and choose keywords just right you could spend a LOT of money in a short time. If you start making money then think about using AdWords.

8) There is one more major NEW way to get traffic to your site but I will not tell you about that unless you join my e-mail list! After joining and confirming your e-mail just forward the first e-mail of my autorespnder to ian@tailgatemoney.com and I will tell you the secret NEW traffic generation system that most big marketers are keeping for themselves!

In my Trash bin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Traffic Exchanges suck unless you are marketing to people wanting to make BIG FAST money online for free. This is only good to rise your site counter number if you are not in the make money market....and even then its not so good.

-Don't use or pay for safelists. They suck! The e-mails they send out are to other people trying to market their own products...why would they buy from you if you ignore the e-mails also?

If you are building a list for people who want to make money online use a list builder were you can export your list members to your AWeber list. This is also a great money making opportunity while building your list of targetted BUYERS. Lots of good stuff with this program for newbies also!

Happy Marketing!
-Ian
