Summer Construction in the City!

Now that winter is really gone for the next few months the road crews are out in full force!

This is good because the roads will stay nice!

This is bad because it brings out the a-hole drivers and road ragers!

I was on the south side of the city coming home from work after a trip to the South Edmonton Common and thats when I found a constructions zone.

Now I know what you're thinking...the 23rd St overpass construction...NO not that one.

If you follow Gateway Boulevard all the way north to White Ave you will find the spot I'm talking about. They have the right lane and a turning lane blocked off just as you get to White. This shouldn't be that bad since there is still two lanes free.

Long before getting to the construction they have signs warning people that the right line is blocked. Lots of time to get over to the middle lane.

As I sat in traffic (I didn't have any vehicle advertising to read) listening to my MX Sat radio I started to notice that some people were still following the right lane and going by me and everyone else who were being responsible and staying the proper lane.

Turns out all the people traveling by the long line were cutting in line ahead of us making our lane slow to a crawl! I was not impressed! And the guy driving the 15 passenger van two vehicles behind me was not impressed either!

We were being the good guys and staying in the lane and these a-holes were cutting the line! For about a 5 vehicle stretch we tightened right up and didn't let anyone in!

I don't feel bad about not letting anyone in especially when we got close to the construction zone. They should feel bad for helping to torture US nice guys waiting in line!

This whole thing has made me think of the lunch line at school! Getting pushed by the bullies and such!!! Not fun!

Just think if your website was being advertised on your vehicle during that 20 min stand still!!! How much money could you have made?

Extreme Tailgate Marketing

So if you read my first post then you will know I drive a big truck with 33 inch wheels around Edmonton Alberta, Canada.

And I have already spoken about advertising on my truck and other peoples vehicles...

Well...

If you seen an accident or some guy doing something crazy on the road...would you remember the website he was advertising? It's in my nature...most likely I would! lol

Well I have to drive 20 minutes every day to get to my day job. The other day I was driving up the off ramp from Whitemud Freeway to Terwillager Drive. If you have ever driven this way you know there is a bit of a blind curve at the tip of the hill just before slowing down to the 70km zone. The other day I came around this corner to see nothing but RED!

Tail lights for about 500 meters to the first set of traffic lights! This happened to be the first real day of rain so the roads were not fun. I slid all crazy like for 20 meters then as I went almost all the way sideways I hit the curb! My two drivers side wheels left the ground for what felt like a minute (about a half second). When I hit the ground my big truck wheels got grip in the sandy (winter sand/salt) grass and I drove calmly back all the way back on the road!

Well, if you were the few cars behind me you sure got a show! lol I sat with one hand on the wheel all cool like till I got to work!

I wish I had the website on the my tailgate that day!

That being said don't forget to visit the EyeEarn website and start making money while you commute to work!

Co-op Advertising/Marketing

Hi and welcome to my first post to my new blog Tailgate Marketer!

Lets start off with a bang!

So I drive a 1979 Full Sized Ford Bronco...now let me tell you it's got some rust on it, runs badly, and uses a lot of gas! The thing is that it's jacked up 4 inches and has 33 inch tires on it! It is a sight...sometimes for sore eyes, but people look at it when I drive down the road! I'm always getting looks...sometimes negative but they look!

So what does this have to do with Advertising or Marketing?

As I drive my Bronco around Edmonton, Albert to and from work and such I read the advertising on other vehicles all the time. I come home at least ounce a week with a new website address that I have to look up. Most times the advertising is on normal or company vehicles. If I spend my time reading the side of the Lennox Heat repair man van how many people would read an advertisement on my truck?

Marketing on vehicles is becoming a big business here in Edmonton and all over the world. So why can't the little guy make some money on this. Now I can't drive my truck all over the city every day advertising especially with gas prices going so high. So what do I do?

Get other people to advertise for me!

Now I can't afford to just pay 500 people around Edmonton to put an ad on their vehicles. I need to give them some incentive.

Co-op Advertising! Sell ad space on a website that I get other people to advertise on their vehicles and we all share in the profits. In addition to cash I can give away prizes from the businesses that advertise on my website. Go one step further and have a coupon page for your advertisers and let people print them off so you will help drive even more business to your valuable advertisers that should already be paying you good money each month.

In addition to me creating my website just to market local Edmonton business

I have found another business that does the same thing except on the global scale!

The power of Co-op Marketing has the potential to make a lot of money for even more people. Add Co-op Marketing to the power of vehicle advertising and you got a winning team.

Drive your way to wealth!
